a work of art that changes with temperature

In this week’s video we see the ingenuity and innovation of a chemist and a mural artist when they combine their efforts to create a piece of art that has never been seen before. Lyle Small is a chemist who created paint/ink that changes colors when exposed to cold temperatures; and Kiri is a mural artist that takes the paints Lyle created to create a kaleidoscopic piece that is invisible to the eye, until the canvas it is painted on is brought down to a specific temperature. It is so cool to see the piece come to life because it does look like when you look through a kaleidoscope!
