Unfurl Tea Co. is a boutique tea company based in central Connecticut. When the owner approached us, she had a clear vision: a logo that stood apart from the typical tea branding. She wanted something modern and chic, yet rooted in a blend of old-world charm and modern industrial design.
After thoughtful exploration and collaboration, we arrived at a logo that is both elegant and sophisticated. The custom typography features a refined slab serif with soft curves and distinctive character flourishes, adding a sense of personality and grace. The tea leaf graphic brings a sense of movement and vitality, as if growing organically from the brand name. The top leaf subtly resembles a flame, symbolizing the heat essential to the tea-making process.
Following the logo’s completion, we developed a comprehensive brand guide detailing how and where to use the logo, along with specifications for the color palette and typefaces to ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints.
