How cool would it be to play a guitar that was made from a New York landmark? Sounds like a dream, but there is a shop in New York that does just this! Rick Kelly, owner of Carmine Street Guitars, creates custom guitars from reclaimed lumber that once belonged to buildings from around the city. Some of his guitars are owned by Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, and Steely Dan. What a great way to reuse history and keep it living through time!
