The village of Inakadate, Japan has become famous for its rice paddy art. You read that right. Rice paddy art! Every year they come up with new pieces of art and plant different colored rice plants to make the design come to life! This idea of rice paddy art was to help increase tourism to the village, and boy did they hit the nail on the head! People from all over Japan make the trip to the village each year to see what new art has been chosen to be planted.
