Escape to China’s Land of the Yellow Dragon

Hidden within Huanglong Valley dwells China’s infamous “yellow dragon”. No it’s not a real dragon, but a collection of hot sprints (3,000 to be precise) that were created a thousand years ago due to geological changes causing limestone to mold and bright blue waters to flow into the series of terraced ponds below. For many years the area was under the threat of industrialization, but thanks to local efforts these pools will stay around for generations to come!
