In this week’s video, we travel to Japan where Textile dyer Sachio Yoshioka creates natural dyes from plants he either grows himself or from locally sourced farms. He uses a technique that dates back to the Edo Period (dating before 1850) to capture the stunning colors of the dried plants into the fibers of the fabric. Absolutely amazing!!
