With over 144 million different objects collected from all over our planet, The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History boasts an extensive collection, but the public only seems just a small sample of these. About 99% of the Smithsonian’s treasures remain behind the scenes, where scientists work with these objects to study and decipher the world in which we live in.
