Toledo, an ancient walled city located in central Spain, has been the center of sword crafting for thousands of years! Their weapon history dates back to the time of the Roman Empire when the emperors took a liking to the blades created in Toldedo because of the high quality of metal they used, which in turn made their swords have a higher quality of strength and durability to them. It’s really neat to see how the city’s history has a tremendous affect on a swordsmith’s life, a templar recreationists’s life, and a medieval fencing company’s life!
