Pietrasanta, which is off the coast of Tuscany, is home to the highest quality of marble around. Michelangelo himself went to Pietrasanta to have access to this beautiful granite to create his masterpieces back in the 15th century. The really neat thing is that there are still 40 studios within the city that practice this amazing art form!
