Chloe Giordano — Freehand Embroidery

Embroidery has been around for thousands of years. Garments found in China have been dated back to the time of the Warring states period (5th-3rd Century BC). Embroidery was at first used to tailor, patch, mend and reinforce clothing, but then it started to be used to add decoration and flourishes to garments, and that is how the art of embroidery was born. This woman creates beautiful works of art with the use of her needle and thread, and they look very realistic. She does a phenomenal job with capturing the shading in every piece she creates. It really is mind blowing to know she only used a needle and thread to create these.
