Elephant seals. Most of the time when we think of elephant seals we envision sleepy creatures basking on the sun on the beach; but did you know that they are actually quite active sea creatures that can swim many miles out to sea and dive up to a mile below the surface. These scientists are using the seals to help them better understand the depths of the Pacific Ocean.
