Lend a Hand – Donate to the Red Cross
We hope this finds everyone warm and safe. We were very lucky to have avoided any damage to our home and studio, but we know lots of you have friends and family (or you yourselves) who were not so lucky. Do what you can, and then do a little more by donating to the Red Cross. Not only monetary donations, but also blood donations are needed. Find a local Red Cross near you, or donate on their website. Gregory Crewdson
Truly one of my favorite contemporary photographers is Gregory Crewdson. His scenes are so incredibly haunting, quiet and meticulous. You might remember his work for Six Feet Under (above). This documentary was made over a decade and is an intense look at his process of creating such huge projects.
CT Science Center
We have yet to check out the new state-of-the-art science center in Hartford, but this weekend sounds like it could be a good time to go! Halloween events include pumpkin decorating, face painting, creepy creatures, and a carving competition: Chefs vs. Surgeons! My bet is on the chefs. science center »

Out of the Office: Friday Oct. 5 – Monday Oct. 15
As some of you know, we are moving! We have a brand new, bigger, brighter studio space waiting for us around the corner. We will send an announcement to our clients to let you know our new address, but in the meantime, we will be out of the office starting this Friday. We will be back up and running on Monday the 15th. We will have access to our voicemail and emails, so any issues or emergencies will be responded to with our usual gusto!
