All very different projects, with different purposes and ultimately unique approaches to their online presence. I seriously wish i had this many books for such an awesome office and library like the one pictured above. check out houzz.com for some pretty amazing inspirations for the home and office. Fantastic uses of space, color and furniture in some great homes.

Cloud Atlas is originally a book by David Mitchell. It is a fantastic premise that stretches long periods of time with such an intricate and complicated web of characters and philosophies. This is now being made into a pretty epic film coming out this fall. You can check out the trailer below, it’s . . . well it’s just epic.

Alex recently got us both hooked on Phoenix, a great alternative rock band from Paris. They’ve had at least one radio hit in the US and seem to be growing a strong fanbase. They have an interesting 80′s synth sound but really upbeat and fun to listen to. Heard them yet? phoenix »

Have you tried Middletown’s new cupcake company? Nora’s is pretty amazing, they make gourmet quality cupcakes filled with magic (try the irish car bomb – it is as delicious as it sounds). They apparently now have a cupcake truck too that you can follow on twitter to get the location. nora »

Here’s some beautiful work by a primarily self-taught artist out of New Mexico. His technical skill is excellent, but his imagery is quite haunting and speaks a lot about the mysteries of mortality and religion too. Very interesting portfolio, check it out! Brandon Maldonado »
Incredible short animation based on the 1938 War of the Worlds radio broadcast narrated by Orson Welles. Having never heard it before, I can now understand just how terrifying it must have been to actually believe it was real. Cool!
This year celebrates 50 years of Agent 007, and here’s a quick documentary about designing the suits for each of the Bond characters. I had no idea there was so much thought put into a suit. I suppose they got it right, because Bond is still a beloved icon across the world.
